Countdown was a television show in the late 20th century and early 21st century, the aim of the game being to find the longest possible word out of a sequence of random letters within 30 seconds.

Much later, when Satellite 5 was known as the "Game Station", it was remade by the BadWolf Corporation. However, this time the contestants had to disarm a bomb in 30 seconds instead. (DW: Bad Wolf)
