Overview

The second series of Torchwood premiered on 16th January 2008, and run for 13 weeks. The first episode sees James Marsters as Captain John. He disrupts Captain Jack's homecoming and places the world in danger. Other plots in Series 2 included an encounter with a rogue Time Agent. It includes first glimpses of the 51st century and the First World War. Freema Agyeman guest stars as Martha Jones in Episodes 6 to Episode 8. Due to demand, younger viewers had the chance to see an edited repeat of the episode.
