Unlike other BBCA Doctor Who specials like The Ultimate Guide and Rewind, it did not recap events for an American audience but presented behind-the-scenes footage and interviews more alike Confidential. It chronicled the cast and crew's trip to America to film scenes for The Impossible Astronaut and Day of the Moon.
