Hi.  Thanks for your recent edits to [[Louise Page]].  We do seem to be editing at cross purposes a bit, so I wanted to drop you a line to clarify so that we don't just get into a needless edit war.  Your number of "45" is the number of ''episodes''.  My number of "35" is the number of ''stories''.  It's only the latter number which can be used, as it's the only unit of measurement consistent throughout the whole of ''Doctro Who'' history.  Plus, "episode" is not useful when discussing the pre-production position of [[costume designer]] as it's the same amount of work for someone in pre-production whether the story is 1 episode or 12.  Once they've designed the costume, the character could wear it for 2 minutes or 200 minutes; the costumer's work load designing that costume is the same.  What matters in measuring the output of a designer is how many times they've had to go back to the drawing board and start to build a whole new world.  Thanks. Hi. Thanks for your recent edits to Louise Page. We do seem to be editing at cross purposes a bit, so I wanted to drop you a line to clarify so that we don't just get into a needless edit war. Your number of "45" is the number of episodes. My number of "35" is the number of stories. It's only the latter number which can be used, as it's the only unit of measurement consistent throughout the whole of Doctro Who history. Plus, "episode" is not useful when discussing the pre-production position of costume designer as it's the same amount of work for someone in pre-production whether the story is 1 episode or 12. Once they've designed the costume, the character could wear it for 2 minutes or 200 minutes; the costumer's work load designing that costume is the same. What matters in measuring the output of a designer is how many times they've had to go back to the drawing board and start to build a whole new world. Thanks. CzechOut | 18:09, March 24, 2010 (UTC)
