Country of the Blind (short story) was a Third Doctor Brief Encounter published in the Doctor Who Yearbook 1993.
Summary
Having received an offer from CERN, a new research facility, as well as being exasperated by the Third Doctor's attitudes, Liz decides to leave UNIT – and all this occurs while the Doctor's lab is being redecorated by Captain Mike Yates!
