Frank Lampard was a resident of Suffingham and a worker at the Vegpro factory. He was accidentally infected by Sarricoid spores and began slowly turning into a plant-like creature. After the accident, he lived at home in an apparent trance, a mindless automaton, until activated by Professor Sarric and commanded to locate and kill the Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith. The creature that was Frank Lampard pursued them to the village church and besieged it until it was sprayed with water by helicopters sent by the Ministry of Agriculture, dissolving and killing it.
