- Simpkins Jelly babies.
- Fourth Doctor: Yes, cochineal. The dye is made from the crushed bodies of tiny Mexican beetles.
- Simpkins: I always thought that was a right old cock-and-bull story, but they all reckon it’s true, don’t they? Thank you, sir, I prefer the little boy babies personally. You get more jelly that way.
