Miasimia Goria was a planet ruled over by the the Rani. She experimented on the natives' brains to heighten their awareness, but this also made them restless and aggressive. She travelled to Earth to extract the chemical that produced sleep out of human brains to keep Miasimia Goria's natives docile. (DW: The Mark of the Rani)
