Jack Hobson was the British commander of the Moonbase.

He helped the Second Doctor save the base when it was attacked by Cybermen. (DW: The Moonbase)

Behind the scenes

  • In the novelisation, he's said to be a forty-five year old Yorkshireman (though he lacks a Yorkshire accent in the episodes).
  • According to The Brilliant Book 2012, a book that contains non-narrative based information; If he was given £10, he would use the weather machine to make it rain on someone his briber did not like.
  • In The Brilliant Book 2012, his name is spelled Robson.
