Cherub was a pirate and Captain Samuel Pike's first mate. At first he aided his captain in his search for Captain Avery's treasure and his attempts to join Squire Edwards' smuggling ring, but eventually decided to take the treasure for himself. He fought Pike for the treasure and was killed by him. (DW: The Smugglers)
