Herr Essler was a member of the Nuremburg Party Committee. In 1939, while attending the party rally, Herr Essler was removed from his box seat at the insistence of the Seventh Doctor, who had claimed to be Adolf Hitler's guest and demanded the best seat. At Essler's insistence, the guest list was checked and when the Doctor's name was not found, he and Ace were arrested and taken to the Fuehrer. (NA: Timewyrm: Exodus)
