Teleport Pods were utilised by the Sontarans during the Sontaran invasion of Earth in 2009. After the invasion was repelled, the pods came into the possession of UNIT which led to the creation of Project Indigo. (DW: The Stolen Earth)
Locations
Teleport Pods were located in the ATMOS Factory, Rattigan Academy and on the Sontaran Flagship. Transport was possible between all three. (DW: The Sontaran Strategem / The Poison Sky)
