The Vampire Lovers is a 2|entertain documentary on the making of State of Decay and was released on the DVD of the serial. It serves as a general account of the serial's production.
It focuses on the final version of the script after three years and how it had changed. It also looks at the design of the story, showing how a room can be made to look bigger with simple effects. This was used for the Hydrax's throne room.
The Vampire Lovers also looks at the concept of blood within the story and explains some of the inspiration behind the script.
