Val Cane was a Human who was married to Biff Cane and they had a son Jethro Cane. As the family went on holiday to the planet Midnight the electrics failed so she and her husband told the Doctor about their holidays. When the Shuttle bus crashed and the Midnight Entity attacked Sky Silvestry possessing her the couple got paranoid and wanted to throw her out. She until the guise of the Midnight Entity she convinced them to through the doctor out into the surface thus it would have killed him. But the Hostess jumped onto the surface talking Sky with her. As a result the paranoya stopped and every body that lived was rescued. Midnight)
