Rumours inclusion as a section?

Just wondering if others think a section on rumours regarding the nature of the town should be included, or if it should wait until the end of the series if anything becomes confirmed (ie whether this constitutes useless info or spoilers)? I am thinking in particular about its part in the series story arc, possibly being 'out of whack with time' as first came up with the 'falsified' Rory name badge controversy (having a 1990 date) - but also perhaps implied with the Dream Lord referring to Upper Leadworth as 'the village that time forgot'? Keep rumours to the Series 5 page or the story pages are the only places that should have sourced rumours on them. Anything else goes in Howling:The Howling. --Tangerineduel 07:11, May 19, 2010 (UTC)
okey dokey, I'm new, why I asked - though not all rumours on story pages are sourced I have noticed ie. on Vincent and the Doctor page I just looked at DreamSong 07:18, May 19, 2010 (UTC)

Leadworth = Ledbury?

This is admittedly pure, idle speculation, but given that Leadworth is stated as half an hour by car from Gloucester, is it possible that it's perhaps loosely based on the town of Ledbury? I've never been to Ledbury, but the similarity of names and proximity might be more than coincidence. Can anyone who's been there corroborate/refute this? 24.5.138.98 22:25, August 10, 2010 (UTC)

  • Ledbury is indeed about half an hour's drive from Gloucester, and it's a pretty rural English town; it also has a castle. From the distance given, I think we can reasonably infer that Leadworth is in either Herefordshire, Worcestershire or Gloucestershire. Bobby G 17:59, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

Where is it?

I can't find Leadworth on Google maps. Why? The preceding unsigned comment was added by 216.97.216.126 (talk).

For the same reason that you can't find Devesham, Devil's End, Stockbridge or Cheldon Bonniface: they're all fictional. Or, if you prefer, they all exist in the Doctor Who universe, but not in ours. —Josiah Rowe talk to me 02:54, May 3, 2012 (UTC)
