Chloramphenicol was a medicine. After discovering an outbreak of bubonic plague in a hospital caused by a temporally displaced plague victim from the 14th century, Owen Harper instructed a Doctor to use "thirty milligrams of Streptomycin and Chloramphenicol plus two of Tetracycline" to treat the infected.
