The Franks were a Germanic group who lived near the Rhine river in what became France. In an alternative timeline, a group of Franks plundered the Pandorica (guarded by the Lone Centurion) in 420 AD. It is unknown what they did with it afterward, but by 1120 AD it was the prized possession of the Knights Templar. (TV: The Big Bang)
