Murray was a driver for Nostalgia Tours buses.
Biography
With Nostalgia Tours
Murray donned a humanoid appearance when he visited Earth. He often did the fifties run. It was his favourite period; he was a fan of the decade's music and clothes.
On Earth
While en route to 1959 Disneyland, the bus hit a satellite and crash landed near Shangri-La in Wales. The Doctor, Murray and Billy attempted to replace the Hellstorm Fireball engine's Quarb crystal but Murray broke it.
They decided to stay at the camp whilst a new Quarb crystal was grown. Murray attended the Get to know you dance and danced with Melanie Bush.
Murray helped in the evacuation of the camp when he was informed of an imminent Bannerman attack. When the bus was repaired, he and the tourists tried to leave, but the Bannermen shot it as it prepared to take off, killing Murray and everyone else inside. (DW: Delta and the Bannermen)
