`Thornton was an engineer on Xirrinda. He helped the Doctor drive the monorail to the safety of Ortagon City, away from the Rain Of Terror. When a few of the creatures were found on the train, he helped to blow it up, but was bitten. (NSA: Rain Of Terror)
