The Republican Security Forces (RSF) were a parallel version of UNIT on Earth in a parallel universe. They were stationed at the Inferno Project and presumably at similar locations all over the Republic of Great Britain. (TV: Inferno)

In 1959, the RSF battled the Bannermen in Wales, from whom they obtained artificial gravity and fast drive technology. (PROSE: The Face of the Enemy)
