Behind the scenes
Cybershades were mentioned by Russell T Davies in to Benjamin Cook, and published in his book Doctor Who: A Writer's Tale, it is believed (given the description) that they are the other Cybus Cybermen-beings that will feature in The Next Doctor.[1]
