The Ventrassian System was a solar system inhabited by an intelligent species. They were destroyed when its sun expanded, an event the Doctor watched. The last member of the species survived the destruction of the system, and was captured by the last of the Astrophia Tribe. (COMIC: Agent Provocateur)
