Madame Mentalist was an entertainer who claimed to have psychic abilities. In 1888, a poster in London said that she had a show on Tuesday, 17 August with admission at one shilling.
Rory Williams was looking at the poster when Frederick Abberline asked how Amy Pond had foreknowledge of Catherine Eddowes' death. Rory claimed she was a psychic. (COMIC:Ripper's Curse)
