Another Image
Could this also be used on the article? As one image of just the eye isn't a real representation of the Atraxi.--Bluesilver 19:17, April 5, 2010 (UTC)
- I also agree with this and think the picture should be changed, but the picture you have placed on the page to change shouldn't be used as it is a poor image and unclear. It needs to be in a clearer format. -- Michael Downey 19:18, April 5, 2010 (UTC)
I fixed the pic on the main page with one of my better pictures [ Iknow that my first pic you use was shaddy , Sorry :( ]

Paranoia RPG Similiarity
Paranoia is a tabletop RPG like Dungeons and Dragons. A character known as the Computer looks exactly like the Atraxi, except that its just an Eye on a Monitor.

Found it funny how much they look alike.

Small typo
"Violation" not "Violoation" - can't edit it myself and can't be bothered to create an account and whatnot.
Appearance
Are we actually sure that those eyeballs are in fact the atraxi, and not some part of their surveillance technology? Faeryty 11:58, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
Giant eyeball seen in Chicago.
Visualized: literally
By Chris Ziegler [1] posted Jun 30th 2010 7:59PMFeature[2]This eyeball, currently under construction in Chicago's Loop district, is an art project appropriately named "Atraxi" "Eye." Getting into a staring contest could be a deadly affair. 24.23.221.192 01:13, July 1, 2010 (UTC)
Ship or species?
It's not very clear whether the eye is part of the ship or the species. The entire ship could even be one of the species (as in, it's not even a ship), for all we know! If we're holding that it's a ship, then the eyeball thing cannot possibly be the species. Therefore it can't be in the infobox.
I also propose that we split the page into Atraxi and Atraxi ship. All the capabilities of their ship have nothing to do with their species - that would be like saying that Time Lords could open doors biologically. The problem is: it's not clear what's ship and what's species. In fact, if Prisoner Zero was one of them, that could be their appearance! But he could also be a prisoner of war... Nothing is clear! What do we do? --SOTO ☎ 02:13, March 10, 2013 (UTC)
- We only have indirect narrative evidence for even the name of the species. For all we know, the "ship" could be their actual form, covered in armour and life support for travel in space. Splitting it would be speculation. Of course, there is a LOT of speculation in this. ComicBookGoddess ☎ 02:25, March 10, 2013 (UTC)
