Madame Nostradamus

Madame Nostradamus was the wife of the alchemist, philosopher, and later (supposed) prophet Nostradamus. She knitted several scarves of extraordinary length for the Fourth Doctor, who would rarely be seen without them until his next regeneration. The Doctor explained the origin of his scarf to Harry Sullivan, in the Ark in Space.
