Aleesha was a nine-year-old girl whose parents were killed in the Year That Never Was. She noticed Martha Jones because of her earrings. Martha saved her from soldiers capturing humans and putting them into camps. Martha took her to a refugee camp, where she was kept safe. As a goodbye present, Martha gave her her earrings. (PROSE: The Story of Martha)
When that year was reversed, her parents were presumably never killed. (TV: Last of the Time Lords)
