Summer Falls

Summer Falls was a book with twelve chapters, written by Amelia Pond using her married name, Amelia Williams, and first published in 1954. It was read by Clara Oswald and Artie Maitland, one of the children she babysat. Clara thought that Chapter 11 ("the best" - a possible reference the the Eleventh Doctor, with whom she travels) would make Artie cry. The girl from within the book was manifested by a Spoonhead in order to capture Clara. (TV: The Bells of Saint John)
