Caused by rifts in time, Vortron radiation made humans ill. It is unknown if humanoids like Time Lords were affected; if so, how greatly. It could be remedied by a concoction of several vegetables and knowledge of this radiation. The Eleventh Doctor developed a cure for Poseidon 8's crew. (GAME: Shadows of the Vashta Nerada)
