Talk:The DoctorDonna

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

This page should be merged with the Donna Noble page as it is just a temporary embodiment of that character. Taccer 07 22:30, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

I'm inclined to agree. Some transformations are worthy of their own articles, such as the incarnations of the Doctor and Master, but considering that Donna only possessed Time Lord abilities for a few hours at the most, it doesn't seem to be enough to warrant an individual article. Still, if it is to be kept, shouldn't it be "Doctor Donna" rather than a single word?--Hawki 03:26, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Doctor Donna = Ood

I see that my page redirected to here from now on. I don't see why. It is completely unrelated to DoctorDonna, which really should be The Doctor-Donna. And also it should be merged with Donna Noble but partly, because this is technically a different person. -The Doctor Forever 04:05, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Considering what the Doctor Donna article consisted of:

"The Doctor Donna were friends of the Ood. Later a coincidence between the Human-Time Lord Meta-Crisis DoctorDonna."

Not to mention that it was uncatagorized.

Besides, the term Doctor Donna in the context of the Ood was applied in only a few circumstances as I recall. One was when the Ood are advancing on them, the pair shouting "Doctor Donna Friends!" With a pack of hommicidal Ood advancing on you, I doubt that grammar would be on the pair's list of priorities. And while it is arguable that the Ood could see the Doctor and Donna as the same person given their hive-mind telepathy, but it's not really worth creating an article to account for a group's view on something that exists with a proper name. As editors, we're pretty much omnipitant. The species that come under our editing are not.

Then again, it's really up to the admins anyway.--Hawki 04:33, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I see but they did call themselves Doctor Donna when talking to the Ood in the Cell:

"Doctor. Donna. Friend."

And also Ood Sigma says that: "And we will sing of the Doctor Donna." Or something like that.

I'll just edit it into DoctorDonna which really should be The Doctor Donna or The Doctor-Donna
