Miss Dawson was Dr. John Quinn's assistant. He told her of his contact with the Silurians under Wenley Moor. When the Silurians killed Quinn, Dawson advocated UNIT attacking them in force. She later caught the Silurian virus. (TV: Doctor Who and the Silurians)
