In the very early morning of 30 September 1888, both Elizabeth Stride and Catherine Eddowes were murdered by Mac'atyde, more commonly known as Jack the Ripper. Both were heavily drunk, and didn't suspect much when he offered to walk them home. Both their bodies were recovered between 1:00 and 1:45 AM. (COMIC: Ripper's Curse)
In 3006, President Winza of Station Epsilon was assassinated after she announced a crackdown on illegal gambling and smuggling. The Shroud was attracted to the station by all the grief caused by her death. Bev Sanford was one of the first inhabitants of the station to be affected. (PROSE: Shroud of Sorrow)
