Saturday, 18 March
- Night: Geraint Cooper has a mild heart attack, and is admitted to St Helen's Hospital
- Miracle Day begins at 22:36
Sunday, 19 March
- Geraint has a second attack
- 6:00 am: Oswald Danes is meant to be executed, but survives.
- Night: Rex gets "killed" by a pole in his heart, but survives.
- 22:36: Torchwood security breach
- 22:36: Last reported death on planet Earth. Miracle Day begins
Monday, 20 March
- 3:00 am: Esther's informed about Rex's condition, and about the Miracle Day phenomenon
- Rex gets treated, and leaves the hospital
- Gwen Cooper and Rhys Williams are contacted by Andy Davidson, and visit Geraint in the hospital
- Night: Esther Drummond searches for info on Torchwood in the CIA Archive; suicide bomber tries to kill Jack there.
Tuesday, 21 March
- Esther wakes up with burns from the bombing
- Rex begins to investigate Torchwood, and flies to Heathrow, driving by Severn Bridge to Gwen's house in Wales.
- Jack arrives when team chased by armed helicopter; Gwen destroys it with a bazooka.
- At Roald Dahl Plass 10:00 PM, Rex uses a rendition to "extradite" the Torchwood team to the United States of America

Wednesday, 22 March
- 10:00 AM - On the plane to America, Lyn Peterfield poisons Jack with arsenic in his Coke, but (11:00) the team manages to cure him with EDTA, made on the plane from (amongst other things) silver, cyanide and degreaser.
- Oswald Danes has his first television appearance on WWCN, where he cries his apology for Susie Cabina's murder. He becomes a public phenomenon, a political symbol. Jilly Kitzinger approaches him, the start of a partnership that would lead to Danes' prominence during the Miracle Day phenomenon.
- 11:00 AM - Vera Juarez begins attending the medical panels. Esther has 50,000 dollars sent to her bank account by the Families in Shanghai as a bribe.
- 6:13 PM - They arrive in Washington Dulles International Airport, and Rex has $100,000 deposited to his personal savings account. After attacking the whole CIA team accompanying them, the newly reformed Torchwood team are again on the run.
