The DC Mining Company was a firm founded by Abraham Derris-Cuthbertson.
Derris-Cuthbertson made a deal with the Travellers, the natives of Epajaenda, allowing the mining company to use the planet's resources and eventually turn the planet into a dump. At the last moment, Derris-Cuthbertson rescinded the dumping and honoured the terms of his contract with the Travellers. (PROSE: Last Rites)
