Why does his name start with three of the same letter in a row? Shouldn't that cout as a mistake? Maybe?

It's spelt that way because that's how River wrote it in her diary. It's similar to how some Ice Warriors names begin with Ss like Sskann, Ssardak, or Sstast. From a storytelling perspective, the alien spelling of their names reinforces that they are aliens. Mewiet ☎ 20:56, March 8, 2014 (UTC)
