Emperor penguins were black and white flightless birds that lived in Antarctica. Their habitat was gradually destroyed by the industrialisation of Antarctica. They were extinct by 2040.

Stuart Mallory was a naturalist that specialised in emperor penguins. (PROSE: The Last Emperor)
