"Ninth" Doctor

Under Continuity it states, "The Doctor sees various possible future incarnations of himself in the Tomorrow Windows. All the possible Ninth Doctors seen in the Tomorrow Windows eventually merge into one definitive Ninth Doctor, who is shown giving his enemies a menacing glance." This story came out in 2004, before Nine ever premiered, let alone the War Doctor. So what I'd like to know is how this reveal is worded. Does it specifically say "Ninth Doctor" or something more vague like "next incarnation"? Is the physical description that of Eccelston's Doctor or is it vague or even non-descript? Because depending on the wording, these potential incarnations could have combined to reveal the War Doctor instead of the Ninth Doctor. Mewiet 01:53, May 1, 2014 (UTC)

1)Eccleston hadn't appeared on television yet, but the announcement of his casting had been made.

2)It just says "my future", not which incarnation it is.

3)However the description of the man is: Then it solidified into one, final figure. A wiry man with a gaunt, hawklike face, piercing, pale grey-blue eyes and a thin, prominent nose. His lips were set into an almost cruel, almost arrogant smile. He had an air of determination, as though withholding a righteous fury. As though facing down the most terrible monsters. That's clearly Eccleston, and it doesn't state which future incarnation he is. Master of Spiders 04:50, May 1, 2014 (UTC)
