A centimetre (abbreviated cm) was a unit of measurement.
According to The I-Spyder Book of Earth Creatures, the Tasmanian tiger was 160 centimetres in length, and the sabre-toothed tiger had two remarkably-sized upper canine teeth, measuring up to 17 centimetres in length. (PROSE: The Last Dodo)
