Hackney Wick was a place on Earth which was the home of the con-man Garron, who often talked of going back to it. When Binro asked Garron's accomplice Unstoffe what Hackney Wick was, he replied: "Well, for all I can make out, it's just a mud-patch in the middle of nowhere, but I suppose it's home to him."
