Hi.

I'm pretty new here, but I used to contribute to Wikipedia many years ago, before it got bogged down with nit-picking control freaks.

Trouble is, I seem to have picked up some of their bad habits and brought them over here. Sorry. :(

I'm just randomly editing stuff where it seems like a good idea at the time. No real plan or anything like that. So far, most of my edits seem to be about the classic series. Well, I've had many, many more years to study it and learn about it, so I'm always much more confident with my knowledge about that than about the new stuff.

I do prefer the historical and pseudo-historical stories to the futuristic space-operas. Whenever I mention this to the more obsessive DW fans they always say something like "Well, if you feel that way, you can't really be a true fan," as though that's somehow meant to be an insult. I always reply, "Ok, then I'm not really a true fan, just someone with my own reasons for liking and studying Doctor Who," which totally confuses them.

BTW my early edits before I created this account are here: Special:Contributions/79.74.41.88
