Taron

Taron was the member of the Thal taskforce sent to Spiridon to defeat the Daleks based there. Prior to the group's mission, Taron had fallen in love with Rebec, and had unsuccessfully lobbied against her joining the taskforce, seeking to protect her. When the taskforce first met Jo Grant and the Doctor, Taron was suspicious of them, but later accepted them as allies. Later, Taron informed Rebec of his love for her. Following the Daleks' defeat, the two entered into a releationship. (DW: Planet of the Daleks)
