Dragon Attack was a Doctor Who Adventures comic strip published in 2013.

Summary

When Dragons fly over the city of London and the air force is deployed, the Doctor leaps to the Dragons' survival.

Plot

Above London on a sunny summer afternoon a skyful of Dragons are causing chaos and commotion on the streets below when the Doctor and Clara arrive. Plans for a picnic are put on hold while the Doctor explains that Dragons are actually alien creatures that absorb solar power through their wings, accidently arriving on Earth when they've been attracted by the heat of the sun. Events become more serious when the airforce is dispatched to take down the dragons and the Doctor with Clara make a hasty return to the TARDIS. Powering up the TARDIS on the spot with the brakes on it soon reaches critical mass. A sudden release of the brakes takes the TARDIS blasting into the sky like a fireball. The Dragons are drawn by the heat and pursue the TARDIS into space. Just as it looks like the Dragons are gonna catch up with the TARDIS they arrive at their destination and the Dragons become distracted by not one but two suns. Unfurling their wings they bask in the rays of the suns. From the safety of a nearby asteroid the Doctor and Clara enjoy their picnic with a beautiful display in the sky as the Dragons feed on the sunlight until they are full and will fly off somewhere else. Like the Dragons the Doctor tells Clara she has lots of nice places yet to see — who knows where they'll end up next!
