"As the TARDIS was capable of preventing a paradox as long as the people creating the paradox stayed inside, the machine may have simply increased this power so that it could be used outside of the TARDIS."

The TARDIS is able to materialise itself (see mini episodes "Space" and "Time"), which is a paradox, but in that event you can't leave the TARDIS - which is possibly where this came from. i.e. exiting via the door of the "outer" TARDIS resulted in arriving from the door of the "inner" TARDIS. ... Of course, given that one could conclude that the Doctor lied about NOT being able to support two Amy's in The Girl Who waited (more also there are two Amy's in the TARDIS in aforementioned mini episodes"); it just might not have been desirable. 81.170.123.108^{talk to me} 03:41, August 25, 2014 (UTC)
