Rigel (star)

Rigel was a star visible from Earth, in the same sky sector along with Betelgeuse and the Horsehead Nebula. Once Ian Chesterton showed it to Vicki Pallister. Nonetheless, the First Doctor remembered to have been in a tavern on Rigel during the early years of the Draconian Purges. (PROSE: Byzantium!)
