Is PROSE an abbreviation?

PROSE is part of a story citation and means that the story is a novel, novella, short story, or other prose types of stories. For example, PROSE: Walking to Babylon refers to the novel. Shambala108 ☎ 19:52, July 4, 2015 (UTC)
