Malcolm Taylor

Professor Malcolm Taylor is one of the UNIT's scientific advisors. He is Welsh and has read all the files on the Doctor. He aided in the help of sealing the wormhole but refused not to close the hole until the Doctor was out, he was held at gunpoint by Captain Erisa Magambo however the Doctor came back through, he closed it and Magambo put down her gun. Outside his trailer he met the Doctor for the first time and he was exstatic to meet him.
Malcom made up his own measurments called Malcom's and Bernard's, Bernard being from Bernard Quatermass. The Doctor also claimed him as his best friend which he glady accepted. (DW: Planet of the Dead (TV story)|Planet of the Dead)
