Iskander

Dr Iskander was the scientist who advised Major Whitaker's team when they investigated an unnatural increase in volcanic and seismic activity in 1984. They descended into an Icelandic volcano in search of the source the disturbances, where they found the base of Dominator Haag and his Quarks. Iskander allowed himself to be captured so he could learn Haag's plans, which were to destroy Earth and acquire its core. After Whitaker's team saved Iskander and destroyed Haag's base, the scientist wondered if the Dominator fleet would find Earth. (COMIC: The Fires Down Below)
