Camfield's Fairy Milk Chocolate was a brand of chocolate bar on Earth in the 20th century.

Having escaped the Robot Yeti's deadly web at Monument tube station, Jamie McCrimmon and Driver Evans stumbled across St. Paul's where there was a platform vending machine selling bars of Camfield's Fairy Milk Chocolate. Fancying some chocolate, Evans tried the machine without inserting any money and discovered, to his surprise, there was a chocolate bar in the machine's open compartment. (TV: The Web of Fear)

Behind the scenes

  • The name Camfield's Fairy Milk Chocolate was obviously inspired by the real-life Cadbury Dairy Milk. It was an in-joke reference to director Douglas Camfield, and complied with the BBC's policy of not displaying brand named products on-screen.
  • Although The Web of Fear episode three is currently missing from the BBC archives, the aforementioned in-joke is fortunately immortalised in John Cura's tele-snaps — one of which is a cutaway shot of the chocolate bar, with its name clearly visible, being removed from the vending machine by Evans.
