Judging by the accents of the inhabitants, it was probably around North America on Earth.

BUT: Jack is from the 51st Century, and it is very clearly (IMO) implied that the Peninsula is not on Earth at all...

Removed the italicised speculation, (I agree) just because they sound like they're from somewhere, unless it's specifically stated as Earth then there shouldn't be any wild speculation such as that. --Tangerineduel 12:00, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Actually, they've very purposefully not mentioned where it's from at all.Zythe 14:55, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Which is why I removed the italicised speculation...again. --Tangerineduel 14:59, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

I like the look of the boeshane panisaula it has a relay over worldly fell especially with that weird looking building it looks like some sort of Dubai hotel built by Frank Gehry

American Accents?

"The people of the Boeshane Peninsula appear to have North American accents. It is not clear if it is located on Earth, or if it was a human colony that was colonised by Americans (which would explain the accents)."

Or it could be that the boshane peninsula is in a similar geographical position in its planet as america is on earth. (I apologise for wording this sentence badly)

Remember, the doctor has a northern accent because 'lots of planets have a north' (Dw 10: the end of the world) so mabye Jack has an american accent because the boeshane peninsula is also in the west of whatever planet it comes from? -- Fabnt(Not a user here) 17:33, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
