The Barbican Centre was a public building in London.

One day Mrs Viola Cummings started running around the building naked carrying a backpack and shouting that she had a bomb. She was arrested by Metropolitan Police. (PROSE: Joyride)

Behind the scenes

Inside the World of Doctor Who, a live educational event, took place at the Barbican Centre on Saturday 29 November 2008, and was was attended by about 2,000 fans.
