Channel Islands
The Channel Islands were a group of islands located in the English Channel. They included the islands of Guernsey, Sark, (PROSE: Just War, AUDIO: Just War, The Rings of Ikiria) and Jersey. (PROSE: Illegal Alien)
In 1939, time travelling Cybermen from the 30th century landed in Jersey. They fled to mainland Britain when the Germans invaded in 1940 at the start of World War II but left behind a sleeper force in the Le Mur Engineering compound which the Nazis began studying. In mid-November, the Seventh Doctor and Ace destroyed the compound to put an end to this research. (PROSE: Illegal Alien)
While under Nazi occupation in 1941, Guernsey was visited by the Seventh Doctor, Bernice Summerfield, Roz Forrester and Chris Cwej. There, the Luftwaffe were developing bombers invisible to British radar detection, and prepared to launch a devastating raid against Southampton as part of the Blitz if the United Kingdom did not surrender. In early March, the bomber, Munin, was stolen and destroyed. (PROSE: Just War)
